I’m horrible with comparing. What is the cheapest way to get to nashville from chicago. Flight, Bus, Train?

I’ve heard there are free shuttle services to and from many area casinos in the city of Chicago, yet I can’t find much on the internet about it. I heard maybe from the chinatown stop of the redline? Anyone heard of this?

I’m going to be in Chicago for Lollapalooza and am trying to get scheduling and everything figured out. I’m going to be using the L Train for my main form of transport. I just need help figuring out how long it will take to get from place to place on it. My hotel is right by the airport and the concert is at Grant Park.
I will be staying near O’Hare Airport.

I am taking a train to Union Station. I was told I need to take bus line #8 Halsted to go to North Branch Street. Where exactly do I catch the bus on Halsted? On Adams or Jackson? Do I need to wave my hand to get it to stop or will it just stop? Also, do I need to pull the cord to stop the bus or does it stop at all stops? Thanks and sorry I sound so uninformed. I’ve been to Chicago a zillion times but I have never taken the bus!
