Chicago Travel Site

I live in Chicago and I was wondering what kind of jobs I can obtain that are close to home.

If there is nothing I like would I be able to travel to get a job that I like. Say for instance in Oklahoma. The kind of jobs I am interested in are basically anything to do with aircrafts. Perferably a pilot but I don’t think I have 20/20 vision (You still need 20/20 vision correct? What about for the transport planes or cargo planes?).

If I do join the Air Force Reserve would I be able to attend their community college since I would be just a Reserve? Or would I be able to attend a flight school in Nevada?

Basically what I am asking is what kind of jobs directly deal with aircraft and how far away would it be from Chicago (or Nevada if I can go to school there while inlisted as a reserve).

I am going to go to a recruiter soon but I just wanted a heads up before I go.

Are there any jobs I can perform on an aircraft while in flight without 20/20 vision?

I don’t have awful eyesight, I don’t even need glasses, I am just guessing I don’t have 20/20 because at a certain distance writing gets blurry.

Hi, I am traveling through Air India with my 2 year old daughter from Chicago to Mumbai. This is my first time traveling with her and I am little nervous as I heard some bad things about Air India. I want to know if you have traveled Air India with a toddler and what was your experience like? For example was flight crew helpful? Do they provide warmed milk for toddlers? I know their entertainment system is poor, so can I take portable DVD player for my daughter to watch her favorite shows? I search through their website but I could not find any answer. I also tried to call them on their four different numbers but all of them are always engaged. My journey is very close, so please reply
