How much is deducted after each use of the Chicago Card?
Thursday, July 9th, 2009I would like to calculate which method of public transportation would be cheaper for the month–a chicago card or a 30-day bus pass?
The 30-day pass is $75. I have no idea how Chicago card deducts money for each use. I know with transit cards, sometimes they deduct $2 the first time, then a lower amount. Still not sure about the pattern within a given time. Anyone who knows or has a good link for how to find this out, please let me know. I’ve tried chicagocard and chicagotransitauthority.com but haven’t found out about how much is deducted each time.
*I’m travelling across the city to downtown, and a car is not an option for me.
