How do I get from New York to Chicago?

I’m going to be in New York early Saturday afternoon and I’m trying to get back to Chicago (where my car’s parked), without traveling all day. I can’t find ANY flights direct from NY MacArthur, JFK, or Newark to Chicago Midway.

Flying to O’Hare really isn’t an option unless there’s a particularly good way to get from the airport to Millenium Station (in Chicago).

Here’s what I’m shooting for….. looking to get to Chicago as quickly as possible, without scraping my @ss out of bed before noon on Saturday.

So far my best option is a bus from NY to Philadelphia, then a flight via Southwest to Chicago Midway. Anyone have any better ideas? Thanks.
I tried the Travelocity search, and no flights came up without requiring a connection somewhere, and they were all at least 6 hours or so, which is definitely longer than a bus to Philly.
FYI, my car’s at the 93rd (South Chicago) Metra Station.

    I think talking a bus first to Philadelphia and then flying to Midway will take you a hell of a lot longer than just flying direct to O’Hare.
    Did you try Delta?

    Of course there’s a particularly good way to get from the airport to Millenium Station (in Chicago).
    Here’s what you do.
    Take the Blue Line from O’Hare and exit at Washington. This is really easy. EVERY train from O’Hare is going the same direction and will stop at Washington. From there, it’s a five minute walk to the Millennium Park Train Station.     I’m sorry to put it this way, but it would be completely retarded not to take the first flight into O’Hare because taking a connecting flight into Midway is going to take so much longer than just flying directly into O’Hare and taking the Blue Line into the Loop.

    Southwest flies out of Long Island/Islip direct to Midway.

    I work for delta, I know we have direct flights from new york’s laguardia airport non stop to chicago midway.
