How to get to Amtrak Union Station from Van Buren Metra Chicago?

Hi,
travelling on a weekday 7:50 pm from the Van Buren Metra station downtown Chicago. How to get to the Amtrak Station on Canal St. Bus routes and/or walking.

    Take a #151 to Union Station. Make sure it says Union station and not Belmont or Howard or some north side destination–(ask to be sure) Amtrak is in the South Concourse.

    walk….it’s only 0.9 miles to Union Station from Van Buren Metra. You’re gonna have to walk partway anyway anf the orange line is the only public transportation.
