I’m travelling from Edmonton, AB to Chicago in a few weeks time. Flights have gotten outrageous, and it’ll cost me about $750 round trip to get there by air. Alternatively, I could take a Greyhound for about $350, but it would take over 2 days of travel time. Is $400 worth 2 days on a bus? I’ve never been on a bus for anywhere near that long, does anyone have experience with trips that long?

Train
We are taking the South shore railroad from south bend, in to chicago, il to go to the shed’s aquarium museum and are looking for the fastest route to get there. We have never been on the train or to the aquarium and the railroad website is very vague and confusing to us.

I need to take a metra train home from school for winter break. Since I’m at school in Chicago I need to walk, take the el, walk, and then get on the train….all while carrying a bunch of stuff. I would like to transport my beta in a plastic cup with a lid on it so that it is much much easier to carry. How long can it go without oxygen holes in the container? (I can take the lid off once I get on the train, and it takes about 30 mins to travel/get on the train)

We are flying out of Midway airport on Sunday. We are flying on Air Trans. We have never flown with them before. How soon should we get there because they have paper tickets and we don’t have our seats assigned yet? We are traveling with 6 people. Our flight is at 7:30 in the morning. I think we are planning to get there at about 5:00. Also, we are going on our 4th cruise, and it is to the Caribbean. So, we need to take sunscreen. I like the kind that comes in an aerosol bottle, but I don’t think you’re allowed to take that with you. Can you? If not, it is fine because we have a bunch of other sun screen. Thanks. Also, how is Air Tran? Do you like it. Our friend who travels a lot says it is a good air line to take out of Midway. Also, where is Midway. We have heard many different things about where it is. We live in Northeast Indiana, so usually we fly out of Fort Wayne or Indianapolis. We have never flown out of Chicago before. It was the cheapest one we could find though.
